Easy Kid Approved Garlic Chicken Recipe

I have been on the lookout for an easy chicken recipe that even my (sort of) picky toddler would eat. He has been getting better at eating a lot of things. However, he does not really like meat yet. He will eat chicken nuggets all day long but that is about it. I decided to come up with my own easy garlic chicken recipe instead of trying to find something that I could make. I figured that it could not be all that hard right! So here is the quick and easy garlic chicken recipe for those busy nights. Especially when you have hungry kids that are starving.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (I get the thin cut kind which makes it a lot easier to dice up)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic (diced up finely)
  • Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Dice up the garlic into fine pieces. Make sure they are not too big. I use 2 cloves but you can use more or less depending on your own taste

Dice up all chicken breasts. I like to have smaller pieces since they tend to cook up faster and are easier for little ones to eat.

Heat up olive oil and garlic in a non stick skillet. Once hot add in the chicken.

Add the Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. You can always add any other kind of seasoning at this point if the garlic is a little too much.

At one point I used a different kind of seasoning but the chicken did not have as much flavor.

Stir and cook the chicken until it is not pink inside. Check a couple of the larger pieces to make sure.

Serve with a cheesy noodle and veggies for a quick and easy garlic chicken dinner!
